METOL is a trademark (est une marque de commerce utilisée par) for Ansco,
Agfa, Hauff, etc. for p-methylaminophenol sulfate

Kodak called it Elon; Merck called it Photol; Mallinckrodt called it
Pictol; DuPont called it Rhodal. And I call it a common developing agent...
