I did the same, but both Netscape 2.0 and 3.0 for windows didn't give me
that problem, (for file 96a you end up with around 3.000 files!) but it
took quite some time to move all the different subdirectories into one
(year) directory. Almost felt sorry for the Hard disk. But once your ready
you do have a giant amount of data which is easy accessable (sp?), very
usefull, but somtimes very conflicting, but that's inherent to the
list..;-)..
