The only difference between relief & intaglio plates in the type of
image you send the company. I have only worked with relief printing,
biy experimenting with intaglio could be interesting. I bet the wood
gives you a lot of plate tone, though. I also don't think it would give
you a good aquatint, but who knows. These guys claim a high resolution,
but the "dot gain" of a laser burning through wood is substantial, and
closely spaced dots tend to run together easily.

I have no experience with woodburytype but I don't think it would work
because the depressed areas are rough, and all the same depth.
