Billie,

You have to print a little deep with VDB since the image will fade slightly
in the fixer, in fact, one must be very,very careful with the fixer otherwise
the image will fade away completely. Use a weak fixing bath, i.e. 25 grams
of sodium thiosulfate to 500 cc water. Don't use commercial fixer its too
strong. Fix for no longer than 5 minutes. Although the references say to fix
for five minutes, many VDB printers fix for only 2 minutes. I think it would
be wise to gold-tone also, but thats another story. So again, watch your fixing
times very closely. Wask for at least 40 minutes.
