You could try Pyro PMK, very nice results. But you will need to down
rate Tri-X by around a stop (EI200ish), which may defeat the objective?
If you want the speed with very fine grain then why not try Ilford XP2 -
dye image so very fine grain and speed from EI200-600 - very wide
latitude.
