I used Tech Pan for a few years and developed it in Ethol T.E.C. (a
coincidental similarity in names). I knew others who used Rodinal 1:100.
The Ethol produced better highlight separation, but slightly compressed
shadows, while the Rodinal did well with shadows, but less so with
highlights. The Ethol was mixed just before use, Part A: Part B: H20 at
1:1:30 I think, with an ASA of 25, 7 minutes N development. I don't have
data for the Rodinal, but it was at 1:100.
