I've just started on cyanotypes (pre-Ware method) so I tested what was
available at the local art store. Rives BFK was the only brand which
did NOT work well, it looked fogged and dull. Strathmore 500 Bristol
hot press was good, also the 2 ply hot press. I wound up using Arches
watercolor 140 lb or 90 lb cold press--it was cheaper, and gave a nice
bright blue color.
