something I should know (good or bad)???? I use Pyro and get excellent
results.

My only experience is with PMK pyro, which is excellent. The only drawbacks I noticed were some loss of film speed and a long wash time to get the proper stain. I'm sure you know it is quite toxic. I got some pretty good in-camera negs for pt/pd printing with it and TriX, by bumping up the contrast.
