Do NOT SEND unsolicited attachments through a mailing list. Many computers
can't handle them for a variety of reasons and its also the best way to
spread viruses. A better way is to invite interested people to contact you
directly if they want your attachments. This also has the advantage of
telling you how many people are interested in the subject at hand.
