Just thought I'd pass this latest on from Reuters:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----
Secretary of State Madeleine Albright today announced sweeping sanctions
against Sudan for its "continued sponsorship of international terrorism."
She also accused the African nation of trying to destabilize neighboring
countries and of having an "abysmal record on human rights." Albright said
President Clinton had signed an executive order under the International
Emergency Powers Act that calls for all Sudanese assets in the United
States to be blocked and imposes a ban on bank loans and all U.S. exports
to the country. Imports from Sudan also are banned.

To my knowledge, most gum Arabic comes from the Sudan. 5 lbs of powder or a
gallon will last you a life time. But then Cuban Cigars have been banned
here in the US for over 30 years and everyone knows how to get those. Well
if we have too Terry can send us all some Gloy!
