Surly that is what the list is all about. An exchange of ideas between
people of like minds with a little light relief from time to time. But even
in the 'light relief' the subject heading should not lead to over hasty
deletion for the 'Snot' thread contained some worthwhile information. It
also arose from a perfectly reasonable explanation of the consistency of
gum when contaminated by an unknown substance.
It is easy on these lists to become over sensitive; generally on this list
we manage to avoid it.
