I have not made many gumoil prints but the ones I did make were made on
Rives BFK cold press paper with some success. I believe it is 140 lb
paper. I would think the heavier paper would be an advantage. Also
I would think that cold press papers would work better than smooth papers
since the whole idea is for the oil pigment to soak into the paper. Is not
hot pressed paper additionally sized?
