>2) What is the best procedure for checking exposure on a platinum print?
Should I tape one edge so the registration doesn't shift when I inspect
it? Or will my times be consistent enough that I won't need to check it.
(A newbie platinum printer question.)<

If you know the density of your neg then should be able to assess the
exposure time of your print consistently. But you may wish to depart from
the standard in terms of thge coating or the depth of development or
exposure. If you do use a little 3M MagicTape to hold the print to the
neg.
