Call and arrange a showing of archived work at the Art Institute. If you can
give them a specific date and time, they may be able to arrange a private
viewing in the photography research room. I believe they have much of
Stieglitz's collection archived including some wonderful gum prints by
Steichen. You might also contact/visit Columbia College ("Museum of
Contemporary Photography" ?) which is within walking distance of the Art
Institute.
