This may be naive, but it seems to me that the "spider" has to be
looking for a pattern to identify e-mail addresses, and the first thing
to look for would be the "@" symbol. In your database, could you simply
replace all "@"s with some other agreed-upon character? It would be
simple enough to change it back when e-mailing that person, but it might
hide the addresses from the bots.
