I've started to play around with the interference watercolors from Daniel
Smith. Glitter gum appears to have some potential, but could get tacky very
quickly. ;-)

The glitter/interference appears mainly in the shadow areas where exposure
effect is greatest. I'd rather see it in the highlights. But, I presume this
might be possible in gumoil. Karl, are you listening?

I also recall an artist from a Camera magazine issue (late 70's I think)
adding mica flakes to gum emulsions for a similar glitter effect, but I can't
recall the name or have the issue on hand. The particular issue was devoted
to alternative processes and included articles by Reilly on albumen,
galvanized daguerreotypes, etc.

I'd be interested in any experiments you might do with these pigments.
