Galina, there is a web site for Ulano photoproducts (can't remember the
exact name but you can find it by searching "Ulano." They make liquid
emulsions for direct silk screen but I think they are very high contrast.
They would probably work very well with half tone. It is a very old company
and well established company that makes very fine silk screen products.
