We are getting there, folks,
The article refered to in John Barnier's posting is entitled " The Direct
Carbon or Fresson Process" by C.Badrinathan MSc, PhD, ARPS and C.Rajagopal,
FRPS, APSA.

I am fairly sure that the information or formulae contained in this article,
or anything like it, has never been published anywhere else except the RPS
Journal May/June 1978.

To state, categorically, that , "They have NOTHING to do with the actual
Fresson process." is slightly audacious, especially when you are not prepared
or able to show why NOT..........

Many people knew and corresponded with Jose Ortiz Echague who had the
"secrets" Whether they were passed on by strong clues to anyone else in an
unguarded moment of weakness or kindness can only be unwritten. The fact is
that Badrinathan saw fit to use the name "Fresson" for very good reasons which
were not solely for monetary gain.I feel sure that Dr. Badrinathan has passed
on, by now, or at least would be untraceable but I thank him for giving me the
basis for my research which led to the culmination last year of my success
with the Interfaced Carbon Image process which, like the Fresson process is a
derivation of Artigues accidental discovery.
The searching and researching which lasted for about six years
will all be explained in my publication due to be launched around 2000. In the
mean time, I am sure the Royal Photographic Society would be only too pleased
to assist anyone approaching them on the subject.
More later. See yo all. John Grocott. PHOTOGRAPHIST. (London U.K.)
