Polaroid Slide Film

I have used the polaroid slide film that you process yourself with a special
machine. I found it to be very grainy. Also the colors look a little weird
to me i.e. a little muddy. I did not think the film was as fast as claimed
i.e. ISO/ASA rating was set too high. All of these things might make it an
interesting film for an alternate process photographer to play with. Since it
is fairly easy (even in West Virginia) for me to get Ektachrome processed
overnight, I believe polaroid slide film is a rather expensive way to get
slides fast. Of course if you need your slides in an hour.....
