What are diazo compounds ?

I was sure, that polymer silkscreen emulsions were developed to substitute
the dichromates-based ones. Is it right, that they still content
dichromates, as Bob Maxey insists ?

Does anyone know for sure ? Wat is the chemistry of photopolymers ?
