I priced dies for this very purpose a few years ago, because I have an
old Vandercook Proof press sitting around that could cut and emboss these
things at the same time. Seems to me the cost of the die was about $100.

I don't know about the 2300, because I bought my 2010 sometime back and
am not ready to buy another one yet. It is well built, well designed,
and works perfectly, IF you print on very smooth material. It will print
on fairly heavy stock. I have a gold ink ribbon, but haven't tried it
yet.

I'd like to know what Sil has to say about the 2300 vs the 2010.
