Pyro processing

Yes, I use Gordon Hutchings Pyro PMK for processing 5 x 4in pinhole
negatives from which I make salt prints or POP prints (and sometimes Van
Dykes) as well as straight silver prints.

The advantage of Pyro is that it produces a yellow stain in proportion to
the silver image. Because most alternative process prints are exposed to
UV, this yellow stain acts as extra density and effectively gives you the
higher contrast negative you need for alt prints. Yet when you make silver
prints using Multigrade or similar variable contrast papers it helps to
produce better graded highlights.

Hope this helps
