In her book "A Non Silver Manual" by Saran Van Keuren is a chapter by
Dana Leight on the topic of gum printing on alternative surfaces the
secret seems to be having enough texture to the surface of the copper
plate for the emulsion to adhere to copper or zinc etching plates could
be given a an acid aquatint or the surface could be sandblasted.Hope
