I thought I would take this opportunity to raise a question about this
recent thread...
A couple of us (Nate Apkon and Judy Seigel) were unfamiliar with the
chemistry that Nze was listing earlier in relation to Mordancage.
Is it possible that the chemistry listed and process discussed was actually
for "Mordant" toning instead of Mordancage (which is a bleach/etch
process). Could the similarity in the words have created confusion?
Mordant toning incorporates a bleach, but Mordancage is a unique process
unrelated to mordant toning per se.
Just wondering....
