Pyrogallic acid is readily absorbed into the blood stream in a variety of
ways. In powder form, through the soft tissues, lungs and nasal passages. In
liquid form, the most common avenue is through the skin, soft tissues and eyes
(splatter). An indication of whether you are absorbing pyro is by taste.
Once pyrogallic acid is absorbed, it can be tasted in the mouth. The taste is
similar to almonds or almond paste. It's kinda like eating an almond-topped
muffin or scone.

Don't be overly paranoid about PMK. Just be sensible, like when you drive
your car. You know if you wreck, you're probably gonna get hurt. The
solution to the problem is to be careful and not wreck. Just wear those hand
condoms and your liver will thank you with a long life.

Hope this helps.
