Hi George;
One of the reasons I joined this list. The only form of Sepia toner sold
around are these tiny little packages of Kodak Sepia, and I was reading
about homemade sepai.

Another problem I ahve around here is the water hardness, it makes a
tremendous differnce on just about everythign from photo chemistry to
washing clothes. People around here who have installed water softening
sytems use about half the soap to wash clothes & dishes, but way of example.

Also, I usually tone 11 x14 prints, I sat down and did th emath, and
figured out on a "per square inch" basis, I am getting about half the life
you are, so I'll keep at it, trying to improve.
