You know, I've been thinking about this for a while, and while its kinda
neat to be able to make digital negs to make prints that look like real
gravure or platinum, isn't it more than a little duplicitous ?

Why not use traditional methods to do traditional techniques, and
attempt to develop an appropriate aesthetic for digital ?

I always have thought that teapots that look like cows were a little
silly, and it is the same issue here.

But all you who would rather use a computer, why not go for broke and
really do something that carries us forward ...
