I am putting together an exhibition of alternative process prints to be
shown at The White Elephant Gallery in Boston. The show will run between
May 28th and June 28th. The title of the show is "Photographic
Renaissance".
The goal of the exhibition is to show a cross-section of printing
processes covering the three major subdivisions;
iron-based(platinum/palladium, cyanotype, kallitype), dichromated
colloid-based(gum, carbon, carbro, oil, bromoil, etc.), and silver based
(silver gelatin, calotype, daguerreotype, amrbotype etc.). There is no
set subject matter.
Deadline for slides is Friday, April 17th. Applicants will be notified
by May 1st. Since the White Elephant is a co-op gallery, all
participants will be asked to pay $35 to cover expenses such as
postcards, advertisements, etc.
