I've been using a service bureau in Rancho Cordova, CA (Sacramento area)
for Fokos-type negatives. Their size limitations are 3600 dpi and
25"x29.7" film output. They are very cooperative, although it took a
few tries for me to "train" them. The first several times, they
couldn't believe I wanted output at such a high res and linescreen....
They also do very good drum scans for about $35 (grayscale). A 16"x20"
neg done at 225 linescreen and 3600 dpi costs about $70. Tell them you
are making digital negatives using the same method as me. Hopefully,
they won't hang up on you! : )
