You won't impress me with 1500 pages of documents. That's about 4 days of
reading for me. From what you are writing it is obvious that you have to
read a *lot* more. You also need to have access to unpublished research
from the conservation community.

The book I am currently working on, on the history of reproduction
technologies, is already 1500 pages long. By the time I'm finished I'll
probably have to settle for an abridged paperback edition, and go to a CD
format for the unabridged edition.
