I'm not entirely sure why only two are labelled 'archaic' - I wouldn't

that there were many people calling themselves aquafortists around these
days.

As so often with practical things, the practice does not tally with the
dictionary.
Spirits ofWine is also supphuric acid but probably did not get into
Websters as it is an Americam dictionary but then it it did not get into
the UK dictionaries either.
Obviously it all your fault !
