I'm not exactly sure what you are describing, but I think it is similar to
what is done digitally, where you have text with a shadow of the text beneath
it...thus making it appear as if the text it floating above the paper... you
could achieve this by scanning in your image and adding text with Photoshop
and then making a digital negative to print from....
