The response to APIS '99 has been great! I would ask folks not to try to
reserve rooms through us just yet. I think I have had at least ten requests
so far. Give us a little time to set up and I will notify everyone then.
There will be plenty of rooms. I only asked for 100, but there is something
like 300 available so if we run out, I can most likely get more.

I picked the weekend after the 4th of July (which is an American holiday
celebrating our freedom from the oppressive and terrifying yoke of Great
Britain) because the Convention Authority says that is a low ebb weekend in
the summer here.
