The paper is off white with a smooth surface and a slight sheen rather like
a pearl photo paper surface, it is a plastic laminated polypropylene
substrate which is resistant to staining, cracking, and tearing being
dimensionally stable.

Yes it is a bit elusive to find . However a fellow list member my good
friend Dom tracked it down last year in the States

This is how it went:

Called Bob Lambie...(new area code:17705878480)..he's gone for the week...
Papers' name is "KIMDURA"...(Japanese made.)
..got link to paper distributor....Kimberly-Clark (1-800-344-5287) in Michagin.
...they handle rolls only...
..got second link to...Kimberly-Clark (1-800-558-5061) who handle sheets....
(When you call this they answer Neenah Paper..don't know who owns who.)
...These people refer you to regional-statewide resource locators...who then
refer you to an outlet...who orders from the resource locator where one just
called to get the outlet. ect ;-(
