I seem to have missed the original post regarding Synteape = Kimdura, but
the comments make me wonder if it is anything like Tyvek or Reemay, both of
which are available from University Products (1-800-628-1912) or
http://www.universityproducts.com
According to the catalog descriptions, Tyvek is "a sheet of pure spun-bonded
polyethelene olefin fibers", while Reemay is "acid-free, random-spunbonded
polyester".
Tyvek costs $45.30 for 25 23" x 35" sheets. Reemay comes in several
thicknesses e.g. a roll of 15 mil thickness 36" x 25 yds costs $53.75.
Please forgive me if I'm way of base on this.
