The list is for us all.
You are right about the power. To use the current jargon both Luis and
Judy are 'control freaks'.
They think that I am 'queering their pitch'. They, more or less, were the
pioneers of the list and they regard it as their own.
Last year Judy tried the full 'show trial' tactics of half truths and lies
and accusations apportioning to the other of her own faults. She is well
known for her tantrums and bullying to the extent that people who really do
know from practical experience what they are talking about are frightened
away. Last year she found that it did not work with me. This year the
campaign is so similar that it is clear that Luis and Judy have
collaborated and prepared the ground so that they could achieve a fait
accompli..
I like Judy, although like a particular kind of woman and some camp men,
her humour is cruel and at the expense of others, but I have a vague
suspicion that she does not like me very much.
