Enlarged negatives

Dear list,
encouraged by my first question - I think I shall build my first frame
myself, as proposed by Peter Marshall - I would like to ask another
beginner's question about producing enlarged negatives:
I intend to learn to print (first, at least) Platinum/Palladium prints.
I take photographs with a 4x5" camera, and being unwilling as well as
lacking the ressources to buy a larger camera, I want, after first
contacting some of my 4x5s for learning, to print at least 8x10s.
I think I shall try to print the Interpositives on (contiuous tone)
Aristatone, and to print the enlarged negatives on Halftone supreme, a
lith film found on the alternative process page of Freestyle sales, and
develope them in Pyro.
My question is: who has experience with this way of producing enlarged
negatives, and may give further tips or hints of how to do it successfully?
And, is it possible to produce adequate negatives on the halftone film at
all? Is the way I intend to produce interpositives doable?
Oh yes, and fro where can I get Mylar interlayers of thin quality, or
"saran wrap"? (I found this name in the 1997 archive of this list.)
hoping for help,
Lukas
