paper negs/paper possies

Dave: You are exactly right. They are talking about film/photo paper
issues. I just wondered if everyone on list in this discussion had
considered the vastly more controllable, cheaper (once you have the
computer and the right printer) of digitally manipulated and sized
negs/possies. I used to stand for days in near total darkeness developing
big positives (or negs) in a + b +10 parts water for continuous tones in
ortho litho film Talk about tedious. Oh, and I should point
out....computer paper is wonderful to draw or shade further on. I
frequently take a crayon or just dark drawing pencil and accent parts on
the computer paper. I used to do this on film, too, but paper is cheap and
easily altered and easily reproduced. Karl
