Las weekend I visited an interesting, beautiful exhibition of (mainly)
albumine prints from the collection of "Leidse Prentenkabinet". This
insitute has the largest collection of historic ( also contemporairy
photographs) in The Netherlands. The exhibtion consists of about 100-150
images shot around 1900, grouped under different themes (Poeple, Exotic
places, "Snap-shots", Cities etc.).
They are exhibited at the "van Gogh Museum", Amserdam (a bit odd, but this
museum is a must if you visit Amsterdam anyway,..;-)..), until the end of
July (although you might have to check that one)
Oh and it's called "Jewels Of Photography"
