Well the Gold Chloride that I purchase is from Engelhard. It is CAS #
16903-35-8, Chloroauric Acid. HAuCl4 . XH2O is how they list it on their
MSDS. It last me quite a while as I only use it in some of my
platinum/palladium prints. It was a steal at about $35.00 for 5g. It
was ordered with other chemicals to meet minimum orders. I would need
to go back through my invoices to se exactly when a purchased it, but I
remember it been a little over a year ago.
