When I do this, I lose contrast and density big time. I've assumed that this
precipitate (it is dark, not white) contains silver, due to uneven printing when
the sludge remains in, and loss of speed, contrast and density when filtered
out. I've been mixing smaller quantities and tossing it when it gets this
sludge.
