So, you're saying there's no way to learn what information you have on
thenegative and translate that to chemicals and paper?

I know when a negative won't print on Agfra, or Ilford Galleria and I use
Bergger to get full tonal realization; because I know their limitations and
the other's strength. It's learned by experience. Not that I'm always
right, but rarely wrong.
