Film Type:

You can specifies the various predef. film types to scan using the ScanCraft
FS program,
such as 35mm/IX240, Color/Monochrome and Negative/Positive films.

You can select the Auto or Manual option only if you selected the Negative
Film option in the Negative/Positive field.

If you select Auto option, the inserted film will be automatically checked
and the appropriate film type is selected. You should normally select the
Auto option.

If you would like to scan the fine image taking full advantage of the film
characteristics or you can not scan the expected image with the Auto
option, you may select the Manual option. If you select the Manual option,
you must select further the manufacturer and product name of the
film from the pull-down menu.

The following film names appear on the film list. You may register new
film names or the names of films not already included in the list.
