Actually, Jewelia, I've had/seen sad experience where it does. All too
often on a *negative* that's tray developed, or bleached, or something,
seen that pattern appear, circle with radiating spokes .... Lith film in
the tray emulsion-down (a mistake, of course) rarely escapes unscathed....
Developing gum, a soft-emulsion print face down on ribs will show scars,
unless the tray is super-full of water of course...
