Jewelia,

A press with sufficient pressure shouldn't be a problem, at least
theoretically. In my former life as an industrial photo-illustrator I
repeatedly had occasion to photograph machine tools called "Heavy
Stampers" which take a flat sheet of high-grade stainless steel and in a
single slow whack make it into a scuba-diving tank or fire extinguisher
canister. Since it's the size of a locomotive standing on its tail you
wouldn't want to own one, but maybe a time-share could be worked out
with a local major metal working factory.
