Hello Tox ,
Hans Bjelkhagen has produced full-color Lippmann
images using Slavich film from Russia. The mercury back is found
to be unnecessary.(Thankfully, because of the toxicity of
fuming mercury)
The film can be obtained from http://www.3deepco.com
Their site has development information and I
believe that the Photographer's Formulary has
a developer for this film based on Bjelkhagen's formula.
The first true full-color holograms are being made with
this film.
As an aside, people are making holograms now with
$7.99 laser pointers! Now that's Alt.
