I tried the Hahnemuhle Copperplate for gum, which it actually took very
well, albeit with a good gelatin size added. At the time, I was
interested in a smoother surface for gum than the copperplate & so didn't
pursue it, but now I'm changing my mind (for a change), and just this week
picked up that test and made a (mental) note for future. I didn't know
about the high alpha cellulose part of course, thanks for that Jonathan --
We're into high alpha around here, for sure...

PS. All the Hahnemuhle papers I've tried (maybe 6) were very good. All
could be used for gum with enough size, although the Silkscreen & Litho
were on the absorbent side.
