I think the previous poster was referring to dye transfer.

However, there was a process that was a combination of carbro and dye
print. This was called Dyebro and was invented by Owen Wheeler. Autotype
marketed it between the years 1929 and 1950 or thereabouts, as reported in
my Encyclopedia and other books.
