In this I take my cue from the indefatiguable Bob Maxey, who keeps on
ticking about chemical safety, determined to lecture us into living
forever.

Just what it is about "unsubscribe" that you're having so much trouble
with? Or do you simply want to see if Judy is paying attention? Whatever,
here it is again (do you want your name in the headlines?):

The message goes to the SAME PLACE YOU SUBSCRIBED FROM --

That's,

alt-photo-process-request@usask.ca

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

That goes in the address line. OK? Got that? Make a note of it
in case you're seized with a sudden 3 AM urge to get outta here.

The subject line is blank. Got that? Blank. No need to tell the computer
your intentions.

In the body of the message goes NOT the line above, but:

unsubscribe alt-photo-process-l

Note please that's "L" as in list, not 1 as in numero uno above. And the
apostrophe, the little flyspeck to the left of the "1" would throw the
computer off, even if you wrote L. (As is well known, computers are
stupid.)

So, this is a test, like for Mensa, to see who can get their head around
this protocol. And yes, it's also to save work for Gord. When they come
in this way he has to do them by hand.

yours truly,

Bob Maxey
