Yes, after fixing, the image became positive. In Kodaks calibrated step
wedge i get about 9 stops. My safe light is safe to kallitype papers. I
use the normal fixing bath for kallitypes. I thought the negative image
appeared because of a polarization shift in the light reflected from the
print, caused by the suspended particles in the developer. The exposure
time was the usual one used for almost 200 prints. Nothing different was
done to the hole process. My only suspicion is the coating thickness, that
I wasn't monitored by me.
